The Big Reveal

Happy Friday everybody! I am so excited to show you all my book cover, hand painted and formatted by my friend Leslie L Diamond. That’s right, not only has she penned some of the best JAFF out there, she is an incredible artist as well. I am a lucky, lucky girl.

Dearest Friends is now available for pre-order in Kindle form on Amazon! In the acknowledgements, I was sure to thank my JAFF friends who have supported me through this whole process. There is one person outside the fandom that I want to acknowledge--my dearest friend, Paula. She and I have been friends since the fifth grade, and, no, I am not going to tell you how long ago that was. We have shared every major life experience. Graduations, marriages and births have been celebrated together as well as too much heartache and grief.  She is very much Charlotte to my Elizabeth—the logical balance to every one of my irrational proclivities. She does not tolerate my tendency to hide from the world and is one of only two people to whom I can show my worst sides and know I will still be loved. This big reveal is dedicated to her.

Drop me a line or two below about your dearest friend, or anything else, and you will automatically enter for a chance to win a Dearest Friends prize pack. This includes an autographed print copy, some lovely items featuring Leslie’s cover art, and a few other surprises. The winner will be announced at the launch party on November 14th.  Stay tuned for information on other giveaways as we approach the big date.
Are you ready? Drumroll please . . . .

  12. I've been friends with my closest friends since we were all five years old and starting school, many years ago. Although I have other dear friends that I've met since I feel blessed to have such longtime friends, having been children together adds another element to the mix! Good luck with your book release :)

  15. So, this will be my 4th time trying to comment. The screen blinks and then nothing appears. Does it work? Are you getting my comments? *pouts* The last one was really nice, too....

  16. OK, so is it the pouting that made it work? Because that one actually showed up.

  17. I didn't copy and don't remember exactly what I said in my first comment from today. (Tried to leave a few comments last week and gave up)

All I remember is that I love the cover and I wish all the best for you and am excited for this and all future book launches. Drat. I said it better the first time. Just assume it was lovely, thoughtful, beautiful and give yourself a hug and it will probably work out to be almost the same.

  19. Gail I couldn't get it to work with multiple tries either. It's common with Blogger and I don't know why. When I did a guest blog for Alias Thomas Bennet, the blogger had to answer the comments for me!

  20. Grrrr. I think it might be best to do the giveaways on facebook from now on.

  21. Some people told me that they couldn't leave comments on my blog (blogger) and it seemed to happen when they were using the Facebook app and clicking through so the blog post opens within the Facebook app. If they opened it in the web browser they had no problems. I wish it could be resolved though, it is so annoying for somebody who has written a comment to see it disappear when they press post :(
